EARTH DAY 2010 …ATTITUDE OF GRATITUDE

by anita

Gratitude is one of the highest forms of energy (vibration) that we experience. The power of gratitude is this; the more we are grateful for, the more comes to us to be grateful for. This is the law of attraction at work beautifully experienced in gratitude.

Here are some ideas to incorporate for Earth Day 2010 in the Attitude of Gratitude:

1. Be grateful for the “Ordinary”.
Be grateful for things as simple as the sun coming up every morning. A beautiful spring day. A neighbor that drops by just to say “hello” and “how are you?” A day of peace! Open your eyes to all around you! Look for everything, every moment, every situation and express your gratitude. What is important in this process is learning to FEEL gratitude. Look for the “joy” in YOUR feeling grateful.

2. Move beyond yourself and do something for others.
It may be as simple as picking up the phone and calling a friend and letting them know that you are thinking about them and appreciate them. You might want to send a client a little note that encourages them and lets them know “you’re on their side cheering them on, no matter what.” How would you feel if your buddy coach or your mentor sent you a note and said, “I want you to know I’m supporting you in THINKING BIG and I am right here to cheer you on!” Not only would you feel great, your buddy coach would be feeling the gratitude of giving!

3. Create solutions rather than problems
What you focus on expands. When you focus on what you have (gratitude) you will end up having more. If you focus on what you lack, you will never have enough. So, it makes sense that expressing gratitude will expand that for which you are grateful. Gratitude is a high frequency of energy because it is a combination of thankfulness, appreciation, compassion and love. The feeling of gratitude is amazing and will lift your vibration and your spirits, no matter what circumstances may be happening around you or to you.

4. Create an “Evidence” Journal
An Evidence Journal is a tool that can change your life! Record five things that you are grateful for each day. There may be some days you have twenty and some just three. Record even the mundane (“My vacuum cleaner is working today AND come to think about it, I HAVE a vacuum cleaner”) The Universe doesn’t recognize or value quality or quantity…it just matches your feeling.

TODAY is Earth Day. What a great day to experience being grateful for THE EARTH which provides us such ABUNDANCE today and everyday! Join the Attitude of Gratitude Global TeleClass tonight to voice what you are grateful for TODAY!

So much to be thankful for. Unfortunately we tend to focus on what is not perfect in our lives. Thank you for the awesome reminder.

Anita, I was just out walking my dog an hour ago on this beautiful day and thinking, “What if there was no birdsong, no moon rose, no fluffy clouds in the sky, no flowers blooming, no green on the hills?” All those things we take for granted. Interesting that the words ‘granted’ and ‘gratitude’ are so similar.
My last thing before sleep every night is to write in my Gratitude Book and I sleep in peace. Thank you so much for bringing this to our attention.
