Your Mindset SHIFT

by anita

I have a “New” Ezine/Newletter in the process of launching, “Millionaire Mindset SHIFT”. I love the word SHIFT because it really describes one of the most important aspects of working with one’s Mindset. I have several clients, that have recently told me it is the most significant “action” word in their “new” Mindset vocabulary. Shift: “To change from one place to another. To re-arrange or to turn around.”

Our minds are constantly “chattering” about something. Did you know you have over 60,000 thoughts per day and many of those thoughts fall into the category of habitual thoughts. Habitual thoughts are subconscious thoughts that keep resurfacing, based on “old” thought patterns. In order to change those habitual thoughts and create new pathways or thought patterns, the first step is the awareness of your thoughts or mind chatter. The SHIFT comes when you consciously learn to stop and literally SHIFT from the old pattern to the new pathway. You may want to actually verbalize to yourself out loud. “I’m SHIFTING.” It can be a subtle SHIFT or a BIG SHIFT, but it is a turn around from where you are with your thoughts to where you want to be.

YOUR Mindset is key to “creating” whatever it is you are wanting to create for yourself.  Studies have shown that the thought patterns of highly successful people have nearly identical patterns.  They are acutely aware of their thoughts and are able to SWITCH those thoughts and thought patterns in order to create their success. They know their desired outcomes are not only possible, but probable.  The end result IS already.

I like the word shift, too! I’m reminded of one of my own teachers who has said that what one desires is as close as the thickness of a piece of paper, just on the other side.

Anita, ‘shift’ is one of my faves too. Just like shifting gears, you won’t make much progress if you stay in first gear and run on autopilot. Well written and a great reminder to be conscious of our thoughts and words.

A great concept – shift – unfortunately so many hear ‘change’ and they get worried. Shift is so much more than change. As you say – mindset is key. Thanks for writing on the topic. Mitch

I think the constant chatter or noise level of today is one of the biggest challenges for entrepreneurs. We are bombarded with so much information and it is often hard to still our mind enough to pick out what really matters…great tip on mindset!

The word shift is such a good descriptor of the process of moving into your own power and taking control of and responsiblity for your mindset. Thank you for such a well-written reminder to check my thoughts and focus them on my dreams and goals!

Thanks for the mindset reminder. It’s easy to get caught up in day to day routine and allow our thoughts to slip to something less than they should be. Our thoughts create our realities and so thanks again for the Shift.

You are appreciated and I look forward to reading more.

Write on!~

I so agree with this! To shift is subtle but oh, so powerful…

Love it, love it, love it! Shift is so much easier to deal with than change. And remembering that it ALL comes from my own mindset makes it even simpler (not necessarily easier, but…)

When I hear the word “shift”, I think of a “movement” so I too think this is a very powerful word. I look forward to reading your newsletter “Millionaire Mindset SHIFT”. YES!

This is a great article Anita. It reminded me to pay more attention (although I thought I did). Our thoughts manifest themselves physically. Let’s manifest greatness ~ it all begins with an article like this one. Thank you!

Yes Robin, our thoughts do create our outcomes. Really kind of cool though. Reminder to keep moving them toward what it is we are wanting!
